If you care about helping people, want to work in an environment of excellence and teamwork, then you might be a fit for Project Turnabout.
Our leadership understands that our staff is a vital part of the mission. While patient care always comes first, we are attuned to creating a work environment that emphasizes the principles we promote; honesty, openness and willingness are embedded in our philosophy. Mutual respect is important to our effectiveness. As leaders/managers we believe fear and intimidation are wasted energy and have no place in a caring community. That requires that we are all “self starters” committed to the idea of doing our very best to help those we serve.
Our team pulled together to rebuild following a devastating tornado in 2000 and to make Turnabout better than ever. Our beautiful new campus -- and largest location -- is nestled in the spectacular Minnesota River Valley in the town of Granite Falls in southwestern Minnesota, only a two-hour drive from the Minneapolis or Sioux Falls, South Dakota airports. We have access to numerous amenities, including the Minnesota West Community and Technical College, medical facilities, excellent schools, serene state parks, the scenic Minnesota River, and a community of wonderful people.
Granite Falls is rich in the history and culture of Minnesota with many historical and interesting sites to visit; plus it offers many types of recreation, such as snowmobile trails, fishing, and hunting. It is a farming community but also has industry and manufacturing which assures stability and growth in the community. Housing is affordable, schools are strong academically and there are several other communities within easy driving distance that also offer affordable housing and shopping. Granite Falls is located between Willmar, home of Ridgewater College and Marshall, home to Southwest Minnesota State University.
