| Job Description: |
| The Crop Insurance Intern will work with and assist Insurance Specialists in contributing to the achievement of AgStar’s goals through crop insurance sales and service by providing support servicing existing policies and assisting with new client sales. The areas of support include, but are not limited to: responsible for mapping services for clients, assist with crop hail application, gather information for acreage reports, deliver insurance schedules to clients and verify accurate information with client, assist with reviewing schedules of insurance, and processing crop claims. Some travel required. |

| Education, training, experience: |
This position must be a sophomore or junior working towards completing a Bachelors degree and be pursuing a career in agronomy, animal science, ag business, or related field. Solid organizational, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills needed. The understanding of and ability to use various computer business/financial applications including Word and Excel are required.
