Description The commissioned sales position is responsible for maximizing individual and store sales by providing customers with a retail shopping experience that improves the life of each customer, acknowledging and greeting guests and following through to the completion of their retail shopping experience. Aggressively sell merchandise to consumers, meeting or exceeding established minimum sales goals.
Duties
Set and achieve sales goals and annual projections using product knowledge, processes, and sales skills
Process orders, understand advertising
Ensure a retail shopping experience that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations
Maintain a high level of expertise on merchandise on the showroom floor by thoroughly understanding the mechanics and construction of all furniture lines
Serve as point-of-contact on customers’ shopping experience and issues
Participate in display of show floor through set up, stocking, product information visibility, and visual appeal
Understand all store function procedures
Process financing and refund paperwork
Participate in closing and balancing the books |

| Education, training, experience: |
Requirements
High school diploma/GED required, 2 years of college is preferred
Large ticket item sales experience
Basic Math Skills
Retail hours - 5 day workweek includes days, evenings, every weekend and most holidays
Commission sales
Technical/professional knowledge and skills - computer competent and able to grasp intermediate computer concepts
Continuous learner; quickly grasp and retain vendor product knowledge
Professional appearance
Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
Highly motivated self-starter; with a desire to succeed; results oriented
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude
