Job Description: 
Datacard Group Human Resources is looking for an HR Generalist Intern to work at our Minnetonka, Minnesota location. The position is 40 hours/week beginning in May for the duration of the summer. This is a great opportunity for a graduate level student who desires the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a progressive international company. This position will be exposed to all areas of Human Resources with possible projects in employee relations, staffing, organizational development, training, compensation and benefits.

Education, training, experience: 
Basic Qualifications
• Currently a graduate student in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development or Industrial Relations program
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Proven ability to quickly comprehend and adapt to new concepts and tools
• Demonstrated excellence in time management and project management.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and willingly accept responsibilities.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while performing multiple tasks and communications.
• Ability to work in a changing environment with frequent interruptions.
• Previous internship or work experience in an HR capacity.
