Facility: Mala Strana Health Care Center
Hours: 2pm to 10:30pm - 3 shifts- Every other Friday, Saturday & Sunday.~
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for resident nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The nursing care is based on the comprehensive care planning process. The LPN provides leadership for the nursing assistants and all staff when in charge of the building. The LPN observes, documents and reports findings to the Registered Nurse.

Involved in Care Planning Process. Uses standards of care and specific policies and procedures to perform nursing care duties for residents; maintains clean and safe environment for residents and staff; exemplifies leadership in the Nursing unit; completes charting; facilitates all physician orders; administers medications, signs out medications and treatments, obtains and transcribes Physician orders, Documents PRNs

| Education, training, experience: |
| Must have current registration, as a Licensed Practical Nurse, in the State of Minnesota. Must have successfully completed an approved School of Nursing. Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing when directing the care of residents. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of Minnesota Department of Human Services. |
