Job Description: 
DTI is a provider of communication services including facility based local and long distance phone service, DSL and dial-up Internet access as well as other related telecommunication products. DTI has built its business around people – our customers, our employees, and our business alliances.

Markets Available:
Immediate openings in Minnesota: Minneapolis, Owatonna, Rochester

Typical Work Hours: Employees are expected to work at least forty (40) hours per calendar week.

Job Responsibilities:
Experienced Sales Professionals must be well versed in the art of complex selling by utilizing proven solution/consultative selling methodologies and skill sets. Sales Professional must be extremely proficient in prospecting and relationship building throughout client organizations to include all small to medium sized businesses in the markets we serve. Sales professional must be an assertive over-achiever with strong communication skills, a consistent track record of increased sales, quota over-attainment and an industry reputation for competence, professionalism and above all, integrity. Specific responsibilities include:
· Cold calling on local businesses in Account Executive’s market areas.
· Directly responsible for understanding customers’ business requirements, preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and communicating funnel status and sales information and issues to our sales manager.
· Orchestrate the necessary resources to deliver appropriate solutions to customers, in your core areas.
· Accountable for attaining established quotas and account planning/positioning, while developing and maintaining customer relationships.
· Responsible for participating in training curriculum. Identifying individual and team performance objectives in concert with your Sales Manager.
· Develop complete account plans, strategies for penetrating new business accounts, and funnel management.
· Must be adept at managing conflicting priorities within a dynamic market and day-to-day schedules.

Education, training, experience: 
Basic Job Qualifications:
· An Experienced Sales Professional with a record of consistent sales performance.
· Familiarity with MS Word and Excel and able to direct the generation and completion of sales proposals and required reports.
· Strong communication skills (oral and written).
· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.Preferred

Job Qualifications:
· Previous Telecom sales experience preferred.
· Understanding of the business drivers related to network-based solutions and services.
· Established list of key contacts or accounts one could immediately utilize to gain first appointments.
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
