Infection Control/Fairview Red Wing Medical Center
64-80/pp; M-F, generally day shift
Provide leadership and management for the FRWHS infection control program through development of standards and policies. Direct the surveillance program and monitor infection prevention standards that impact patients and health care workers. Serve as a consultant and participant in regional pandemic preparations. Serve as a resource for staff for interpreting infection prevention policies, and practices. Develop control plans to comply with guidelines or regulatory agency standards. Participate in quality initiatives by identifying risks, initiation appropriate interventions, and monitoring outcomes. |

| Education, training, experience: |
Bachelors degree in Nursing, CDC, APIC or college coursework in Infection Control and/or Epidemiology or Bachelor’s degree Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology;
MN RN licensure if applicable ; 2yrs Infection Control experience and 1-3 years healthcare field experience; Master’s degree preferred |
