| Convenience Transportation, LLC, a subsidiary of Kwik Trip, Inc., operates a Truck Maintenance Shop, located in La Crosse, WI. The Fleet Maintenance Department has a team of 30+ co-workers responsible maintaining the 600+ vehicles operated by Convenience Transportation and Kwik Trip. Our facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year maintaining our modern fleet that includes: Class 8 tractors and straight trucks; Class 6 straight trucks; petroleum tankers; multi-temp refrigeration units; light trucks and automotive equipment. Our state-of-the-art shop is equipped with an automatic washing system, truck and automotive hoists, quality tooling and safety equipment. This individual’s responsibilities include supervising Fleet Technicians; reviewing time records and providing timely performance appraisals; following and enforcing all company policies; maintaining and managing inventory; scheduling repair work; overseeing purchasing of parts; comply with DOT regulations; and assist with day-to-day operations of Fleet Maintenance facility. |

| Education, training, experience: |
7-10 years of Fleet Maintenance Supervisor experience; excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products; ability to lead by example; strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines; strong organizational skills; high customer service standards; flexible; ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment; strong desire to succeed; goal orientated; ability to provide co-workers with timely and professionally job performance feedback; understands fleet operations and inventory control measures; work in safety conscious environment; willing to live in close proximity of the La Crosse, WI area. The following skills are not necessary but are a plus: knowledge of TMTSoftware and/or Parts Inventory System; flat rate and time management measures; Thermo King Refrigeration parts experience; valid driver’s license with excellent driving record and either has or have the ability to hold a Commercial Drivers License.
Physical Requirements:
Stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist/stoop frequently; lift/carry 100 pounds to waist level occasionally; push/pull 100 pounds of force.
Work Schedule:
Need someone with flexibility in work schedule. Schedule may vary and include nights and weekend work. |
