Job Description:
Mental Health Practitioner position available at an intensive residential mental health treatment center for women with mental illness in Minneapolis. This position will focus primarily on helping the clients develop basic living and social skills and assistance with advocacy through community intervention. This includes helping the client to develop a realistic vision of recovery as well as the skills to manage his/her illness in order to minimize its impact. The MHP will have a caseload of clients. With each client, the MHP will use the Functional Assessment and ITP that identifies skills the clients need or wish to increase and will work with the clients on these goals.

Education, training, experience:
To qualify for this position you must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or a closely related field and at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the service of persons with mental illness. A Master’s degree and experience in a residential setting is preferred. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Salary: $36,000-$38,000/year DOQ. Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
