Department: IS-Clinical Systems
Under the direction of the Team Lead or other senior personnel, the Programmer/Analyst is involved in most phases of the development process. This includes: gathering specifications, creating and refining new or revised computer system functionality specifications, conducting the detailed analysis and design, programming, testing, documentation, assisting in implementation, and follow-up support of the users. Ability to work and thrive in a team environment is critical.

| Education, training, experience: |
Education: Require college degree (four years) in business or technical field. (Prefer degrees in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Math, Management Information Systems, or Web Development.) Prefer formal education in C++, .NET, Web Development or Database Development. Prefer advanced degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or related field.
Experience: Prefer programming experience in C++, .NET, Web Development or Database Development. Prefer healthcare, insurance, accounting, or systems programming experience. Prefer development experience with Microsoft Windows, client/server systems in a high volume environment.
