Glencoe Regional Health Services includes a 25-bed Critical Access hospital, three clinic locations, and a 110-bed long-term care facility. GRHS is located one-hour west of the Twin Cities.
GRHS has a full time opening for a Laboratory Manager. The primary scope of this position is to coordinate and direct the day to day operations of the laboratory department. The Lab Manager oversees personnel responsible for providing accurate and efficient testing. He/she ensures compliance and standards of laboratory regulating agencies. The Lab Manger establishes and implements strategic goals and initiatives, including operating budgets, to assure laboratory processes are continually improving. Candidate must be capable of providing effective, respectful communication with both internal and external customers. This position works closely with Lab Medical Director and Vice President of Ancillary Services. |

| Education, training, experience: |
Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (NCA) certification. 3-5 years lab experience, as well as advanced coursework or experience in change management, project management and strategic planning preferred.
